The dial on my camera is looking a bit tatty. Time for some repair work.
Having sought the advice of the twitter #MakersHour crew I sourced a sheet of white dry transfer lettering.
The sheet I bought had a selection of sizes. I picked the size closest to the lettering on the dial – as it turned out it was very close! I carefully lined up the appropriate letter and rubbed over the back of the letter with a blunt pencil transferring the white letter onto the dial.
Once done, I masked off all but the camera dial and sprayed a thin layer of clear matt varnish to protect the lettering. I pleased with how it has come out!
